With the impact of COVID-19 on small business owners globally coupled with the difficulties many small businesses are facing in an ever-changing world, the Global Connections for Women Foundation is pleased to announce our launch of the GC4W Marketplace. The GC4W Marketplace is an e-commerce site that will give small businesses the opportunity to feel supported during a new transition and have the opportunity to connect with new customers.
The Global Connections for Women Foundation invites small business owners to submit their applications to sell their goods on a very dynamic site. Merchants on the GC4W Marketplace will also have access to the GC4W University training programs that equip female entrepreneurs with the skills they need to scale and transform their business. Merchants on the site will have exclusive access to mentors and business leaders to support their business initiatives through the GC4W Circle Network.

A very special place we created to provide guests with the opportunity to support women-owned businesses while viewing and shopping multiple products on one platform. Small business owners like you will feel more supported and encouraged by a community of champions as your transition into a new world. Vendors on the GC4W Marketplace will have access to marketing and sales support in addition to training and professional development programs.
The GC4W marketplace was conceptualized to help transition small businesses during this dynamic period. We understand that it’s not enough to just connect to new customers (reach of 3.5 Million people worldwide, and highly engaged +360,000 site visitors), but also upskill and interact with people who are driven to watch you grow. The GC4W Marketplace provides GC4W University training programs that equip entrepreneurs with the skills you need to scale and transform your business.


Selling on GC4W Marketplace
Once approved, access to the vendor dashboard will be provided, which will allow you to set up and modify your store. Using the Vendor Dashboard, you can add and update your products, review, and confirm your orders. Finally, you can use the Reports functionality to view your sales and refund history.
Once you have selected a merchant plan, you will be billed accordingly i.e. monthly, every 3 months, every 6months, every 9 months, and yearly.
- Log-in to your merchant account
- View your Dashboard and click on products
- On the right corner of the screen, click on Add New
- Add high res product photos and include a product description
- Add inventory/stock quantity
- Add pricing, etc.
Sellers can control the shipping fees for your orders.
Log into your account, on your dashboard, click on Settings. Under Settings, use the Shipping button to view and edit your shipping settings.
There are 3 methods you can set your shipping fees:
- Shipping by Country
- Shipping By Weight
- Shipping By Distance
Customer product reviews are an integral part of any shopping, and the reviews benefit both customers and sellers. Customers who support the women-owned businesses on the GC4W Marketplace will be invited to give a product review and to reflect on their product delivery experience.
When a customer buys your product, a notification is sent to you, and you manage all the transactions thereafter. Sellers select their own payment options within the Marketplace Dashboard. The payments will be released to your respective accounts within a 7-15days period.
